Our INFEWS faculty Amy Rowat invites you to the 2022 LA Times Food Bowl event People, Food, & Climate: Thinking Holistically About What We Eat event

Panelists will holistically consider together: how can our individual food choices support the climate crisis together with human and planetary health?  One of the Institute’s Council members, Aaron Blaisdell, PhD (he/him), UCLA Professor of Psychology moderate this in-person discussion and Q&A at the intersection of science, agriculture, policy, architecture, and the restaurant industry featuring:

  • Paula Daniels, JD (she/her), Co-Founder and Chief of What’s Next;

  • Jorge Gaviria, founder of Masienda and author of MASA;

  • Paige L. Stanley, PhD (she/her), Postdoctoral Researcher at Cotrufo Soil Innovation Lab, Department of Soil and Crop Sciences at Colorado State University;

  • and Christian Stayner, M.Arch (he/him), Founder and Managing Principal, Stayner Architects & co-founder of Bacetti.
