  • UCLA Facilities Management 731 Charles E Young Drive South Los Angeles, CA, 90024 United States (map)

It’s Easy Being Green!

UCLA Staff Assembly hosts regular Learn-at-Lunch (L@L) events for all UCLA employees.

Are you wondering about this “thing called sustainability”? Would you like to learn about UCLA’s goals and how you can demonstrate leadership in helping your department to reach its potential? Wondering how we’ll achieve targets such as Zero Waste 2020, Carbon Neutrality by 2025 and reducing the campus water consumption 36% by 2025?

This Learn-at-Lunch is for you! UCLA’s Office of Sustainability and the City of LA Green Business Program have partnered to help us achieve these goals! Bonny Bentzin, UCLA’s Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer will talk about the campus goals and the UCLA Sustainability Champions program along with Sandrine Cassidy, City of LA Green Business Program Manager, sharing LA’s Green Business Certification Program. Tips on how to make your department zero waste will also be covered.

Join us to learn more about this exciting work, participate in informative dialogue and win prizes that can help you and your office join the sustainability movement. Feel free to bring your own lunch. We look forward to seeing you!
